[edit] Project Description

This project is a complete redesign of the ECE Department web site from the ground up. The marketing component recognizes that the web is a major way of marketing our department. There are 3 primary groups we focused on attracting and providing information to. These groups are the Alumni, Industry and Prospective Students. The purpose of the redesign is to give our site a professional look and a more intuitive navigation style. The old site needed to be recreated to a current standard of web development. This new standard is called Cascading Style Sheets or CSS for short. Other than creating the new site, many suggestions have come from the surveys and discussions we had during the research process. The new ECE department logo and the intelligent advisor system are examples.
