The golden rule is: use common sense. Do not post anything that you would not want share with everyone, because this wiki is visible to the internet. Do not post anything that you would not want to email to the wiki administrators, because all edits are logged.

  • You will not deface any part of the wiki. By deface, we mean adding, modifying, or removing part or all of any article, picture, or uploaded file, in such a way that the change takes away from the value of the wiki.
  • You will not post any potentially offensive material.
  • You will not post any derogatory comments, symbols, or pictures toward any person.
  • You will not post any personal information about a person other than yourself on any wiki page.
  • You will not post any copyrighted material without permission. This includes pictures, diagrams, and trademarks.
  • You will not intentionally post non-factual information that will mislead others in their pursuit of knowledge.
  • You will not post solutions without a professor's permission.

Failing to meet these terms can result in your loss of Wiki privilege and further punishment (Reminder: You will need wiki privileges for Senior Design, Scholar Team, as well as other ECE classes). Wiki administrators and professors are not exempt from these terms and subject to punishment for violations.

NDSU IEEE (and if needed the Chair of the ECE Department) will be the group responsible for deciding what if any punishment is needed. If you see any of these terms being violated we ask that you report them to the IEEE officers or a Professor of the ECE Department (your identity will be kept anonymous).

These terms can be changed at any time by the ECE Department or other ECE Wiki representatives. See the ECE office for any further details or questions you may have. Otherwise use and add to this great pool of knowledge as much as you like.
